As an independent JK-12 school in St. Louis, Missouri, Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School’s mission is to help students discover their unique talents while preparing them for a life of purpose and service as engaged citizens of their global community. When the school was tasked with constructing a brand-new sports facility, Polyvision and Designtex teamed up to bring MICDS’s vision to life by creating five archival photo collages representing the school’s storied history in field sports, coaching and school spirit. Digitally printed on durable Flex 4 CeramicSteel panels, the photo collage murals are installed in the west-facing archways, welcoming student athletes and spectators to the new stadium every day.
